Sonoro GRAND ORCHESTRA – Floorstanding Loudspeakers with Air Motion Transformer
The Sonoro GRAND ORCHESTRA are powerful floorstanding loudspeakers designed to deliver both dynamic and highly detailed music reproduction. Their 2.5-way system combines an Air Motion Transformer for the high-frequency range with multiple dynamic drivers and a carefully tuned cabinet construction.
They are aimed at listeners who want room-filling sound, clear treble, precise midrange and a solid bass foundation, combined with a high-quality design suitable for modern living spaces.
2.5-Way System for Balanced Sound Reproduction
The GRAND ORCHESTRA use a 2.5-way configuration. The individual drivers reproduce different frequency ranges and work together to create a cohesive and balanced soundstage.
This design enables powerful bass reproduction, clearly resolved midrange and precise treble. Voices, instruments and fine details can therefore be presented with clear separation and accurate positioning within the musical image.
Air Motion Transformer for Precise Treble
An Air Motion Transformer is used for the high-frequency range. Unlike a conventional dome tweeter, it moves air through a folded diaphragm that contracts and expands.
This design enables a fast response to musical impulses and supports finely detailed, clear treble reproduction. Subtle nuances can be reproduced with precision, particularly in vocals, acoustic instruments and complex musical passages.
Dual-Magnet Drive for Controlled Diaphragm Movement
The drivers of the Sonoro GRAND ORCHESTRA use powerful dual-magnet systems. The increased magnetic force supports precise diaphragm control and contributes to dynamic, low-distortion sound reproduction.
The individual frequency ranges are designed to remain controlled and clear even at higher listening levels.
Powerful Bass Reproduction
The woofers are tuned for bass reproduction that is both powerful and controlled. This gives electronic music, rock, jazz and orchestral recordings the necessary foundation without allowing the low-frequency range to overpower the rest of the sound.
The floorstanding loudspeakers are therefore also suitable for larger living rooms and music recordings with a wide dynamic range.
Resonance-Optimised Cabinet Construction
The cabinet of the GRAND ORCHESTRA has been designed to reduce unwanted resonances and standing waves. Its rounded shape and stable construction support even sound dispersion and minimise disruptive cabinet influences.
The aim is to prevent the cabinet itself from adding unwanted coloration to the music reproduction.
Hand-Sanded Wooden Cabinet
The cabinet is made from hand-sanded wood and finished with a high-quality matt coating. The rounded cabinet edges create a harmonious appearance while reducing the visually imposing effect often associated with conventional floorstanding loudspeakers.
Black aluminium details add carefully placed visual accents and complement the understated design.
Magnetically Attached Loudspeaker Grilles
The supplied loudspeaker grilles are attached magnetically to the cabinet. This eliminates the need for visible brackets or mounting holes.
Depending on the preferred appearance, the GRAND ORCHESTRA can be used either with or without the grilles.
Suitable for Modern and Traditional Living Spaces
Their slim proportions and understated design allow the floorstanding loudspeakers to be integrated into a wide range of interior styles. The combination of wood, matt surfaces and metal elements complements both modern and traditionally furnished living spaces.
The GRAND ORCHESTRA are therefore designed not only as audio components, but also as visible elements of the interior.
Compatible with Sonoro Hi-Fi Components
The Sonoro GRAND ORCHESTRA can be combined with a wide range of Hi-Fi amplifiers and audio sources. Within a coordinated Sonoro system, they can be used together with components such as the MAESTRO Hi-Fi receiver or the PLATINUM turntable.
They can also be used with amplifiers from other manufacturers, provided that the technical specifications and connection options are compatible with the loudspeakers.
