The tonearm of the T1 is a further development of proven Pro-Ject designs. It consists of a single piece of aluminium and is equipped with low-friction bearings to ensure precise tracking. The integrated headshell minimises vibrations and is a significant improvement over detachable or screw-on headshells. The platter is belt-driven and, together with the newly designed sub-platter and ultra-precise platter bearing, provides a resonance-free rotation platform for the tonearm and cartridge.
