The NAD C399 sets new standards in the Classic Series with its impressive HybridDigital™ nCore power amplifier technology. These power amplifiers are not only highly efficient but also deliver remarkable performance with a continuous output of 2 x 180 watts and impulse power peaks of up to 500 watts into 2 Ω. Known for its wide bandwidth, even frequency response, and high current capability, the C399 plays at any volume with extraordinary neutrality, dynamics, detail, and spatial precision.

First-Class D/A Converter

The high-resolution ESS Sabre 9028 D/A converter, borrowed from the Masters Series, underscores the audiophile quality of the C399. This D/A converter is characterized by its large dynamic range, extremely low noise, and minimal distortion, enabling musical, precise, and clear reproduction of all digital sources.

Future-Proof Thanks to MDC2 Modules

The C399 continues NAD's innovative Modular Design Construction (MDC) and expands it with the new MDC2 architecture. This allows for bidirectional communication between module and component, ensuring that the C399 remains technically up-to-date and can be expanded with future features.

Advanced Streaming and Room Correction

The optional MDC2 BluOS-D module offers advanced streaming functions and connects the amplifier to the internet via WLAN and Ethernet. It supports Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, and enables music streaming through numerous services. In addition, the module integrates the innovative Dirac Live® room correction, which measures the acoustics of the living space and ensures optimized sound reproduction.

With two optical and two coaxial digital inputs, an HDMI eARC port, two RCA high-level inputs, and a high-quality phono stage, the C399 offers comprehensive options for connecting various audio sources. Wireless Streaming and Headphone Amplifier

Bluetooth® aptX™ HD enables wireless streaming in 24-bit resolution as well as the connection of Bluetooth® headphones. The separate, high-quality headphone amplifier of the C399 is capable of driving even the most demanding studio monitor headphones, making the C399 a comprehensive solution for all audiophiles.
