The NAD C399 sets new standards in the Classic series with its impressive HybridDigital™ nCore power amplifier technology. These amplifiers are not only highly efficient, but also deliver remarkable performance with a continuous output of 2 x 180 watts and peak power of up to 500 watts at 2 Ω. First-class D/A converter

The high-resolution ESS Sabre 9028 D/A converter, borrowed from the Masters series, underlines the audiophile quality of the C399. This D/A converter is characterized by its wide dynamic range, extremely low noise and minimal distortion, which enables musical, precise and clear reproduction of all digital sources.

Future-proof thanks to MDC2 modules

The C399 continues NAD's innovative Modular Design Construction (MDC) and expands it with the new MDC2 architecture. This enables bidirectional communication between module and component, allowing the C399 to be kept technically up to date and expanded with future features.

Advanced streaming and room correction

The optional MDC2 BluOS-D module offers extended streaming functions and connects the amplifier to the Internet via WLAN and Ethernet. It supports Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and enables music to be streamed via numerous services. The module also integrates the innovative Dirac Live® room correction, which measures the acoustics of the living space and ensures optimized sound reproduction.

Versatile connection options

With two optical and two coaxial digital inputs, an HDMI eARC connection, two RCA high-level inputs and a high-quality phono stage, the C399 offers extensive options for connecting a wide variety of audio sources. The integrated phono stage and the low-noise buffer amplifiers for high-level inputs guarantee high-quality signal processing for vinyl lovers and other analog sources.

Wireless streaming and headphone amplifier

Bluetooth® aptX™ HD enables wireless streaming in 24-bit resolution and the connection of Bluetooth® headphones.
