The PHANTOM S-280 uses two specially developed 200 mm mid-woofers featuring DALI’s exclusive wood fibre cones, low-loss surrounds, and a magnet system with SMC pole pieces. This technology ensures a balanced, dynamic, and detailed reproduction of the mid and low frequencies. The two additional 250 mm passive radiators enhance bass reproduction and provide deep, powerful bass that is otherwise only known from large-volume floor-standing speakers.
Exceptional Treble Reproduction
The DALI hybrid tweeter, combining a soft dome and a ribbon tweeter, is responsible for treble reproduction. This proven combination enables a silky, delicate, and room-filling reproduction of the highest frequencies. The 90-degree rotatable tweeter also allows for flexible installation, both vertically and horizontally, making the PHANTOM S-280 ideal as a stereo, centre, or surround speaker.
