From the Garage to a Passion
Soundreference was founded in 1989 – not in a shop, but in a garage. Christian had one goal: good sound for watching films at home. He turned this passion into his profession, long before home cinema was a common term.
A Family Business with a Motto
The one-man project became a family business. Today, Christian's two sons help run the business and ensure that Soundreference stays up-to-date with current topics like streaming, multiroom audio, and networked home cinema. What hasn't changed since the garage is the motto, which still applies to advice at Soundreference today: If you don't know what you need yourself – ask the professional.
