Pro-Ject Audio Systems - Passion for Analog Sound Reproduction

Pro-Ject Audio Systems , founded in 1991, is committed to the mission of providing the best possible analogue experience at reasonable prices. At a time when digital audio media dominated and vinyl was all but abandoned, Heinz Lichtenegger held on to the belief that the turntable remained the best way to enjoy music.

goals and philosophy

Pro-Ject wants to get as many people as possible excited about analogue sound reproduction. The key to this lies in high-quality turntables that do not have any unnecessary features but still offer the highest quality. All products are made from the best components and are exclusively handcrafted in Europe.

The breakthrough

The first big success came with the Pro-Ject 1, which received excellent reviews in a test by the German magazine "Stereo". This led to growing international popularity and today Pro-Ject turntables are available in over 80 countries.

manufacturing and quality

In the Czech Republic, Pro-Ject turntables are manufactured in-house from start to finish. Every component, from the smallest screw to the frame, is manufactured by experienced technicians and undergoes a strict four-stage inspection. The micro high-end components are made in Slovakia. By reducing the housing to the essentials, costs were saved while at the same time an excellent price-performance ratio was achieved. Pro-Ject is proud to develop products that offer long-lasting value.

International Cooperations

Pro-Ject works closely with renowned partners in the music industry, including Universal Music Group (The Beatles), Third Man Records (Jack White), The Rolling Stones, Parov Stelar and Metallica. These collaborations result in special and limited editions that offer customers an even greater choice. Special anniversary products are also created in collaboration with the Vienna Philharmonic and Ortofon.
